Preschool Nature Programs

Muddy Shoes: Preschool Explorers (One day classes)

Preschool Monthly Nature Program (7 class session)

Does your preschooler love playing outside? Come track animals, munch on wild edibles, and call out at circling hawks this school year! We won't miss a teachable moment as we explore the natural world together and wonder at the magic all around.

Each day will include a sharing circle, story, and time to hike and explore. We'll use developmentally appropriate games and activities to enrich our learning about the day's theme. From frog eggs to fox tails, we'll be having fun and making new connections with every step!

Let's create, touch, watch, get quiet, be loud, move, build, climb, smell, and most importantly, DISCOVER.  Who knows where a shimmery spider web or incredible egret sighting could lead us for the day?  Your child will walk away with knowledge about local flora and fauna, new friendships, and an inspired sense of connection to nature!

Flying Squirrels - Monday Nature Program (17 class session)

We have been inspired by our weekly nature program families who have for years been requesting a preschool nature program for their younger kiddos. So welcome Flying Squirrels!

Here at Earth Native we specialize in children’s passions and getting kids to come fully alive outside. Don’t let your child miss out on this grand adventure! The Flying Squirrels will build forts, explore, hear captivating stories, play exciting nature games, build campfires, and learn a ton about the plants and animals that we share this awesome space with.

Our youth programming curriculum will teach your children an incredible amount about natural science and nature through the exploration of the plants, animals, and natural processes that are going on all around us. Children will explore nature with their instructor to gain nature awareness and knowledge of plants, mammals, tracking, birds, ecology and a lot more!
