Picnics in the Park: A Day in Nature for Preschoolers

Welcome to our exciting program, Picnics in the Park! Each week, we'll delve into a different piece of the nature puzzle. As we venture to natural areas throughout Austin, you’ll have a chance to explore all the surrounding flora and fauna, making your family true ‘Earth Natives'.

We'll start with a nature-inspired craft, like celebrating the colors of the earth with soil paint, or exploring trees by stringing leaves onto yarn.  After crafting, we go exploring!

Muddy shoes, leaf crowns and spider-sightings are our mission! We then gather for our picnic in the park and close with a story… Knowing a new adventure awaits us next week! Join us as an Earth Native instructor helps to open your young one’s heart and mind to the magic that lies within the wilderness.
