BIRDS, BIRDS, BIRDS
Owls, Ospreys and Orioles... Oh my! Do you ever wonder what those birds are saying when they call to each other? Do you ever find a feather and wish you knew what part of the bird it came from? Come spend a day exploring these flighty creatures! We'll learn to identify common birds and their calls as we hike through their habitat. We'll talk about crazy cool adaptations of these feathered friends and search for their sign throughout the woods. Learn how to use binoculars and communicate to other bird watchers about the bird's location in a tree. Get to see some of the best field guides for identifying North American birds. We'll even play games where we pretend to be birds to learn more about the food chain and their behaviors!
