CAMPFIRE SKILLS
At Earth Native, making campfires (and hanging out by them) is one of our favorite things! Fire is an amazing element, and in this class, we’ll have a ton of fun learning all about it. This class will explore all things fire, including how to start campfires with all-natural materials that the kids gather from the landscape (no lighter fluid or newspaper needed!), several different fire-starting techniques, including matches and Ferro rods, and will even include a friction fire demo!
Also included are good fire tending practices, fire safety information, and properly extinguishing a campfire. No doubt it'll be a fun way to spend a day outside!
