"The Survival Intensive course provided me not only a comfort in survival basics, but also the inspiration to ask bigger questions of myself. What is it that one truly needs to survive? What resources are all around us that we don't even recognize as resources? What truths of the human interaction with nature can be derived from simply exposing oneself to primitive scenarios? This class forced me to explore these questions and I am forever grateful."

SURVIVAL SKILLS INTENSIVE 2024-25
Join us for the ultimate adventure, the Earth Native Survival Skills Intensive, an 8 month (one weekend a month) immersive hands on experience where students acquire new wilderness survival skills and self-sufficiency.

Let us help you increase your confidence and skills in the woods, improve your self reliance, and help train you how to best respond to wilderness emergencies.
At Earth Native, we believe that long term mentoring situations are the best way to learn and designed this ongoing one weekend a month course . In the Survival Intensive you'll learn life changing skills and make strong new friendships along the way.
Skills taught in this program include: shelter building, friction fire by multiple methods -- bow-drill, fire-saw, and hand-drill, primitive fishing, local plant identification, basic wildlife tracking and behavior, foraging for both animal and plant foods, making cordage from indigenous plant species, finding, collecting and purifying water, creation of natural containers, basic animal processing, primitive cooking methods, basic stone tool construction and use, and more!
Over the course of 8 months you will greatly increase your ability to survive a critical emergency in the woods through knowledge of both ancestral and modern survival skills, technology, and philosophies, as well as increased comfort in wild places through knowledge of, and connection to the outdoors.
In addition, students will cultivate and deepen their connection to, and knowledge of, the natural world and the incredible abundance of resources that are available for use not just in survival situations but in their everyday lives.
Every weekend will provide participants the opportunity to put into practice the theories and skills of both ancient and modern survival techniques. Several weekends will involve the application of these skills and principles in overnight scenarios. The intensive culminates in a 5 day survival trip, where the students will apply their new skills with access to limited modern equipment.
Come join us for a life changing experience!
