"The Survival Intensive course provided me not only a comfort in survival basics, but also the inspiration to ask bigger questions of myself.  What is it that one truly needs to survive?  What resources are all around us that we don't even recognize as resources?  What truths of the human interaction with nature can be derived from simply exposing oneself to primitive scenarios?  This class forced me to explore these questions and I am forever grateful."

SURVIVAL SKILLS INTENSIVE 2025-26

Ready for the ultimate wilderness adventure? Join us for the Earth Native Survival Skills Intensive, an 8-month (one weekend a month), hands-on journey where you’ll learn critical survival skills and gain the self-sufficiency and mentality needed to survive the wild.

This program is designed to increase your confidence, improve your wilderness skills, and teach you how to respond effectively in wilderness emergencies. Whether you're a beginner or have some outdoor experience, this intensive will help you grow into a safe, capable, self-reliant outdoor adventurer.

At Earth Native, we believe in the power of long-term, mentorship-driven learning. This is why our program is structured to meet once a month for eight months, giving you time to absorb and practice new skills while building lasting relationships with fellow participants.

Over the course of the Survival Skills Intensive, you’ll learn a wide range of life-changing skills, including:

  • Shelter building techniques

  • Friction fire-making (bow-drill, fire-saw, hand-drill)

  • Primitive fishing and foraging

  • Local plant identification

  • Basic wildlife tracking and behavior

  • Making cordage from native plant fibers

  • Water collection, purification, and filtration

  • Crafting natural containers

  • Basic animal processing and cooking

  • Stone tool creation and usage

By the end of the program, you’ll have a solid understanding of both ancient and modern survival techniques, enabling you to survive in the wilderness and thrive on your outdoor adventures. Plus, you'll gain increased comfort and connection to the natural world—learning not just survival, but how to live harmoniously with the land, using resources in sustainable and mindful ways.

Throughout the program, you'll have the opportunity to practice these skills in real-world scenarios, including multiple overnight trips and a 5-day survival expedition where you will apply everything you've learned with limited modern tools, putting your skills to the test in a supportive, immersive environment.

This is more than just a course; it’s a chance to transform your relationship with nature, experience the wild in a whole new way, and build lifelong friendships with other like-minded students. Come join us for this life-changing experience! Sign up today!
